CFM stands for Code Fragment Manager. CFM Update lets PowerMacs load parts of the application as needed. It also allows applications to share programming code stored inside a "Shared library file". This will not only speed up the application but use less memory as well. PowerMac only! Unnecessary in System 7.5.3 or 68K computers.
